What's up everyone!

I'm an associate professor of entrepreneurship at John Carroll University (small, private, Jesuit school in Cleveland Ohio). I am also the Founding Director of the Bill & Sue Donnelly School of Leadership and Social Innovation, and the Executive Director of the Edward Muldoon Center for Entrepreneurship.

I experiment every day, and have for years. No joke. Every day. It's amazing what it can do, and I am addicted to exploring new ideas and possibilities. My singular goal with the exploration is how can I increase student engagement and workplace readiness. I believe that is my one and only job. AI has been extraordinary at enabling both, and it just gets better every day.

I am 100% an early adopter. It's in my nature - I tend to be an iconoclast who leaps off the cliff first and shares my journey to empower others to leap.

I am a lecturer and trainer with a strong specialisation in artificial intelligence applied to education. Currently, I teach computer science at an Italian Technical Institute, where I use ChatGPT and other AI tools to make learning more engaging through gamification and interactive quizzes, improving student engagement and making teaching more dynamic.

Besides school, I have almost 100 hours of teacher training under my belt, with a specific focus on generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). I accompany teachers of all levels in the exploration of new AI-supported teaching methodologies, providing practical tools for integrating these technologies into school curricula.

In the academic field, I hold a chair at the University, where I teach ‘Data and Digital Infrastructure for Public Administration’. In this context, I delve into the role of artificial intelligence in the digitisation of the Italian PA, analysing the opportunities and challenges related to the adoption of AI solutions in the public sector.

My goal is to build a bridge between education and innovation, helping both students and teachers to exploit the potential of AI to improve learning and teaching processes.
